Never watched the Terminator series, just heard and understood Arnold's classic lines. After watching this movie, I was moved. Looking through some introductions to the series, 30 years have passed. The two protagonists reunited in the film to present a wonderful performance for the audience. The whole story is like a reincarnation. Sarah's child John is killed by Arnold's Terminator, and Sarah is driven by a mysterious text message to hunt down the Terminator. And this time she will face a more powerful enemy, the latest version of the Terminator. It is invulnerable, can be split, can be reshaped, and can still be assembled and restored after being beaten to pieces, which is very terrifying. This time, the task is to kill a girl named Dany. The most inconspicuous protagonist of the film. Also came with the transformative Grace, she and Sarah teamed up to protect Dany, but still lost to the Terminator. Finally, they found the mysterious man who sent the text, Arnold. In the face of crisis, Arnold and Sarah put aside their grievances and join forces to fight against the enemy. Contributed to the wonderful fight of heaven entering the sea. In the end, Dany used Grace's energy bar to defeat the Terminator in Arno's, Arno and the Terminator fell together and burned together. A For John makes people cry. It also echoes his family's farewell words in this era I wont be back. Tears were brought to the eyes at the moment of burning.
Also touching is Grace. A survivor of the apocalypse, growing into a warrior along the way. At first I just thought she was a warrior, well-trained, calm and ruthless. But when she told her life experience, there was a trace of fragility in her eyes, which made people feel distressed. After being seriously injured, she asked Dany to remove the energy bar from her body, which meant she would lose her life. Her perseverance is moving. It's just that she never imagined that Danny, who she tried so hard to protect, turned out to be the future who adopted her and became the future human leader.
Danny
It looks very ordinary. She is not amazing, can't drive, can't shoot, and has no advantages other than blind bravery and self-confidence, but it is this blind bravery and self-confidence that makes her the leader of the human resistance army, and encourages people in the future to join forces to resist robots. It feels a bit silly.
In the film, the hope for the future is no longer a boy, no longer a mother who might raise the boy, but the leader himself. A female image not only subverts the routine of the Terminator series, but also should be called the current trend of rising feminism. It just feels a little stiff and far-fetched.
Overall, the film promotes a spirit of not giving up hope and keeping fighting. Still quite impressive.
