There are all kinds of different time circles in this world, and the time circles are filled with children like Miss Pei's family. Only eccentric people can enter the time circle, and even travel between different time circles. Abel and his grandson Jack are eccentrics. There is also a strangeness in them, only they can see monsters that eat eyeballs. In 1943, Abel entered the circle of time where Miss Pei and her children lived, and first learned of the existence of the eye-eating monster. Since then, Abel is determined to find all the monsters in the world and destroy them, just to protect these children living in the circle of time, and even gave up his love with Emma for this mission, until his grandson Jack's born.
