De rouille et d'os-8/10

Fortunately, I watched this film before the movie theater went offline. This is the kind of film that will make you unable to calm down for a long time after watching it, and you need to digest it. Of course, as made in Europe, the romance and meticulousness peculiar to the French are everywhere in this film. Every lens angle, every ray of sunlight, and every character close-up are in place. After seeing more of the thick lines of Hollywood, don’t pay attention to it. Watching this film is really a pleasure. The movie is always very quiet and does not rely on the soundtrack to sensationalize. It is conveyed by the actors' dialogue and performance. But every time I think of music, it is a heartbreaking moment. I like this way of using acting skills and script content to shock the audience. Marion Cotillard once again proved her talent, (the bad scene when she died in Batman 3 finally can not be criticized by me) in this film, her performance is indeed impeccable. I think what this film wants to express is an attitude in life that we need to have when it is not easy. Life cruelly forces us to face reality. Although there are so many misfortunes that make each of us extremely sad, as long as we are still alive, Any pain that cannot beat us will make us grow and stronger. Grinding away the rust on our bodies and smoothing the bone pain, when the sun hits our faces, we got up and moved forward bravely.

Marion Cotillard has been at his peak all these years! I like the rhythm of Jacques Audiard very much, but the ending is a bit fast.

Every time I see a large aperture with backlighting, I have a five-star impulse! In the end, he lost one star because he was too deliberate to make an accidental turn with his son. Classmate Ma Liang is still a fish in the water in the national film, and gradually advances to a god-level actor. If you can waste less time in Hollywood, the French version of Aunt Mei is just around the corner! PS Is this the first film in film history that directly shows the scenes of the amputee's sexual life?

Rust and Bone quotes

  • Alain van Versch: [Talking to Stéphanie on the phone] What are you doing?

Stéphanie: At this moment? In life? Or in general?

Alain van Versch: I wanted to say that...

Stéphanie: I'm not asking for anything. I'm hanging up. I'll call you to ask about Sam. Give him a kiss?

Alain van Versch: Don't hang up! Don't hang up!

    Stéphanie: I won't hang up.

Alain van Versch: For three hours... he was in a coma. For three hours, he was dead. I was scared of losing him. Don't leave me!

    Stéphanie: I won't leave you!

Alain van Versch: I love you.
