It's obvious that the movie inherits Tim Burton's usual weird, fantastic, dark fairy tale style. However, the protagonist's skills in the film are tasteless, and the villain's ability is explosive but the IQ is touching. It's a bit unclear. If this is to adhere to the attributes of "fairy tales", those eye-poaching shots are probably learning from the alternative style of "The Brothers Grimm". Audiences who don't mind the frequent changes in the rhythm of the movie will be more comfortable watching it, otherwise the display of a group of children and villains' abilities will make people feel that this is an imitation of the X-Men. All in all, in recent years, when fairy tale movies have been dominated by the Disney family, an alternative fairy tale with a different style can make the audience escape from the dreamy and beautiful eyes and experience a small world in a time loop.
