Whether or not too many paranoid special effects overshadow the brilliance of the original, the actors' acting skills are still commendable, especially the heroine Saoirse Ronan. This little actor has so much charisma that I'm drawn into her world: if she wasn't so curious, she wouldn't have entered that house; if she could have been tougher, she could have smashed that coke bottle at that Perverted killer, maybe she can escape from the devil's lair; maybe, earlier, the teacher didn't interrupt her kiss with the beloved boy, she would not go home alone, maybe... But, such a The beautiful girl was killed, even though she had a bright future. My favorite scene is when she kicked the villain in the face with her foot and then escaped. She had been yelling in her heart not to go into that basement, thinking she wasn't tortured to death. But when my father met her, I realized that she had entered another world, and I had to praise the director's ingenious idea. Finally, Saoirse Ronan is the shining point of the whole show, her smile is in stark contrast to the ugliness of this world.
