In the film, when Moses mentioned Pharaoh, this famous lyric appeared and was pleasantly surprised. Xiaofan's lines are really pitiful. In the early stage, he was a funny M, and in the later stage, he was basically dumb. When watching Moses, he always had the expression "This person is sick". The director felt that he didn't know how to use the big scenes. The big scenes often passed by in a flash, and the sense of shock disappeared. How the court drama looked like a family soap opera, I was going to cut my hands and extort a confession before I could figure out who was who. The role of the old pharaoh and Moses is really a sense of sight between Kangxi and the fourth master. Kingsley disappeared after a while. Bell's performance was okay, and Pharaoh was puzzled the whole time.
I feel that it is always thankless for directors to make Bible stories now. The recent "Noah" and this film have a mediocre reputation at the box office. This film tries to realise the story of the Bible. God is the hallucination of the protagonist. Well, it is understandable. Natural disasters are mostly natural disasters, which is understandable, but the miracle of killing a child is a true miracle that cannot be rounded up no matter how round it is. What's more, if the miracle is toned down, Moses has completely become a middle-aged and second-ill uncle of menopause in this film. When I read the popular Bible before, I thought the dead child was a "fairy tale", but this time I felt it was too cruel after seeing it in the movie. Hollywood's "law of immortality" in this film broke orz's suggestion like a map cannon up.
The film should be called "The Brief Biography of Moses", and finally the original name, only the pharaoh was seen, and the "gods" were not seen. If the film is made into a fight between gods and gods, it would be pretty cool. I remember that in the original Bible, Moses and an Egyptian mage had a fight.
