My philosophy of science and superstition

I watched this movie with extremely scientific beliefs, and later found out that it was actually a matter of belief. Why do I believe those things about the future are true, because I believe that science can reach this height. Why do I find it funny when I watch this movie, because it's a myth, we don't believe it. But in fact, if I think about it carefully, if it is realized by technology, or put it in the background of the future instead of BC, maybe I will believe it. So technology and superstition are both beliefs, and they are actually the same thing.

Barely two points. I fell asleep once. I don't understand why Ridley wanted to make such a movie for his younger brother after Tony died. The story of "Exodus" itself is very problematic. God is a big brother in the underworld here. Thinking of the younger brothers who were brought out of Egypt, I ruthlessly put the Egyptians to death, doing things in a dick and disgusting way, even the boss of Hong Kong's underworld needs to talk about morality and rules! It is impossible to tell the story logically if the image of God is not properly grasped. Compared with the avant-garde cartoon "Egyptian Prince", this film is sluggish, all the supporting characters are functional characters, and Moses' heart is blank. ). The main focus of the whole film is a few CG scenes. The Egyptian chariots burst into battle, and they suffered various punishments such as the river turning red and flies flying around. The effect of the separation of the Red Sea was average. All the actors painted eyeliner, thick eyebrows and oiled, greasy comparison, coupled with sluggish performances, it was ridiculous

The film is incomparable with The Ten Commandments. "The Ten Commandments" is about God, and what's interesting about this film is "Godless". Moses is more like a schizophrenic. Except for the death of the eldest son, which cannot be explained by science, the "ten plagues" are interpreted as natural disasters. Even the separation of the Red Sea has been described as a brief ebb tide before a tsunami. I was pleasantly surprised because I had heard good reviews before watching it. Effects are good.

Exodus: Gods and Kings quotes

  • High Priestess: [reading fowl entrails] In the battle a leader will be saved, and his savior will someday lead.

Moses: [laughs] Then the entrails should also say that we will abandon reason and be guided by omens.

  • Hegep: Do you know what the problem is? People live too long these days. Every year the death rate lags further behind the birth rate. And these people, they reproduce like it's a sport.

Moses: This is the problem? A growing work force?

Hegep: Oh, no. No, of course not, it's good for production, of course it is. But only to a point. When that population wants you dead, yes, it's a problem. So either I'm given more troops to maintain order, or I start thinning out the herd.
