Can't think of a title

I watched Little Women with great expectations and was a little disappointed, so the clothes were pretty good. I don't dislike the narrative technique of recalling reality interspersed, but the frequency of switching back and forth in this movie is so high that the overall plot line and rhythm are confusing. Especially for people like me who haven't read the original, it took a long time to understand what was going on. In addition, I feel that the emotional scenes of the whole drama are very confusing. Of course, this is also related to the fact that I have never read the original book. Lost ambiguous. I also read various analysis posts on Zhihu afterwards, and then I understood why the female lead rejected the second male and wanted to come back to find the second male, and why the second male finally chose the fourth. (I didn't feel these things at all when I was watching the movie, I only had the word "puzzling" in my mind) In the end, I felt that Amy's casting failed a little bit, and I felt that I was older, and the second neighbor's male was very young and tender. Especially no sense of CP.

Little Women quotes

  • Theodore 'Laurie' Laurence: That's my grandfather. Are you scared of him?

Jo March: I'm not scared of anyone! He looks stern, but my grandfather was much more handsome.

Marmee March: Jo! We do not compare grandfathers!

  • Beth March: It's like the tide going out. It goes out slowly, but it can't be stopped.

Jo March: I'll stop it. I've stopped it before.
