This movie can be regarded as showing the image of Greek mythology in my mind.
After reading some movie reviews, many friends think that the movie is flawed, and the biggest question is why Zeus didn't intervene.
In fact, I think this film still follows the worldview of Greek mythology. In mythology, gods also need to obey fate, and Zeus must also find a chance to win the holy war from the cracks of fate - holy war is that Zeus got the prophecy, there must be a mortal Only with help can the Titan be defeated. This mortal is the greatest hero in mythology: Hercules.
The role of Theseus in this film should actually be Hercules (In the film, Theseus became a god through the deeds of Hercules, and only Hercules was the only one who turned into a god), but Heracles Si is too famous and has too many deeds, if too many adaptations will cause disgust.
Another Greek mythology film, Wrath of the Gods series, uses Perseus, and everyone tries to avoid this minefield. It’s like the superman played by the male protagonist later in this film. The popularity is too high and the expectations are too high. The audience has built their favorite perfect character for themselves countless times in their minds. No matter how you shoot, you can’t satisfy everyone.
The origin of Theseus has changed from a mythical prince to a slave. It seems that the film does not mention whether his mother gave birth to him with Zeus. I think it should be a matter of conforming to the audience's values. The Greek mythological Mary Sue of the royal blood of the son of Zeus The routine can no longer be used, and I don't think there is a problem with this.
The special effects are good, the fighting is okay, and the female characters are all good looking.
Henry Cavill should play the role of Helios, the sun god. He looks more like a god than the god in the film... His expression is also like a god. Shape, but somehow smiled. Maybe I'm too harsh on him. After all, the protagonist he played in the two films was in a tangled state of mind. Everyone said that his acting skills were better than that of Brandon Ruth from The Return of Superman. I think there should always be some truth. Yes, maybe other characters he is not like this.
Go far, go far... this is not a Superman movie review.
Back to the point of my dissatisfaction.
I came to watch mythology, so he did not satisfy me. I am dissatisfied with the following points:
1. The only gods who can be called by name after watching the entire film are Athena, Zeus, and Poseidon. The young god killed by Zeus, I am still not sure whether it is Helios or Ares. At first I thought it might be necessary to kill Helios so that Apollo could take over the throne, and then I killed a god immediately. Later, I found that the gods were all ready, so I combined the stupid virtue of this buddy who talked back under Zeus' angry eyes. Maybe it was Ares, but when are Ares likely to say "how can you tolerate such atrocities" so loving human beings;
two: Titans are not orangutans! Atlas of the sky, Gaia, the mother of the earth, these are all Titans! Are they the father, mother and grandfather of the Greek gods? Make a bunch of titans look like beasts, all with one face! Even biting the rebar! What about the position of the Greek gods who fought these titans? At that time, I was foolish and hoped that after the release of the Titans, they would put on their clothes gracefully, catch up with Zeus and the others, and then go to war. The film has become a super-power warrior fighting zombies...
3: Tartaros (hell) is on the ground, and a mortal can get in, which makes me achingly tight...
4: Twelve Titans The twelve gods are not perfect. Since there are so many gods and so many titans fighting at the end of the film, and you have so much time, why don't you call in a few more gods? Even if you call on the Twelve Gods, it will do (slicing out the dead eleven).
Five: This is my personal preference. Hercules is obviously a hero of the same era as Theseus and a good friend. I also expected him to make a cameo appearance. I didn’t expect that he was the maker of the divine bow that had been dead for many years.
By the way, I have to complain a little more: the Black Sea in the film is really a fucking oil sea... I'm fucked
, looking forward to next year's Henry Cavill starring Superman vs. Batman and the Justice League in a few years.
