As another Cancer, I greatly appreciate the expressiveness and plot of this CG animation.
Good art lies in its insight into human nature, so Beowulf is a hero with a full and lovable character.
Cancer is a complete idealist as a child, and there is only one question in life that can trouble him: "What should this world be like?" And Cancer himself is often the hero who pushes the world forward.
They will not understand until they are old enough that there is a huge gap between "what should be" and "what will be". In the final analysis, this is the gap between ideal and reality, conscience and desire.
Whether it is clinging to morality or succumbing to desire, it is understandable. Heroes are people too. So Cancer's biggest problem is how to make their own inner balance.
However, once Cancers find a way to balance ideals and reality, they can often burst with amazing energy. For them, if they can pass the test of conscience, there is no test that cannot be passed in the world.
Speaking of Beowulf, anyone who knows a little about Freud should understand that this is an anti-Oedipus story. Chinese people pay attention to tiger poison and do not eat children. It seems that the standard for Danes to be heroes is to dare to kill their own sons.
Could it be that this is the extreme embodiment of the Cancer family concept?
