A cartoon for adults

I used to search for movies on Stormwind and saw "Beowulf". I thought it was an action movie at first, but I found out that it was a cartoon, so I stopped watching it at the beginning. I saw someone recommending this movie by chance today, so I watched it again. It really is a very good cartoon, and it is a cartoon for adults.
The first is the picture. Although I watched it on the computer, there is no 3D effect, but the delicate picture, the characters' frowns, smiles, and hair can all reach the level of fake and real. Sometimes I wonder if some shots were taken directly. This exquisite film is a work of art.
In the story, it also breaks away from the vulgar stereotype of knowing the end after reading the beginning. It reveals the vanity and lies of human beings, and demonstrates courage and responsibility. Beowulf was originally a brave and arrogant warrior. He was an ordinary person, but when faced with the beauty, money, and power status represented by the water monster, he lost his principles, gave up his mission, and reached an agreement with the banshee. Agreed, and turned to a lie to satisfy his desire. However, what he lost was not only the unrequited revenge, but also the inability to have his beloved queen, and he also sowed the seeds for the future security of the kingdom. When he came to his senses decades later, he took on his responsibilities again and exchanged his life for peace in the kingdom.
In life, aren't we also faced with all kinds of temptations, and temptations generally look good on the surface. When we are attracted by these temptations, it is difficult to continue to stick to our original goals.

Beowulf quotes

  • Unferth: Good night, Beowulf. Watch out for sea monsters. I'm sure your imagination must be teeming with them.

  • Yrsa: They say he ripped the monster's limb off with his bare hands.

Gitte: [giggles] I wonder if Beowulf's strength is only in his arms, or in his legs as well... all three of them

    [both giggle]

Wealthow: Well, after the feast tonight I'm sure you can find out, Gitte.

Gitte: Me? It's not me he wants, my queen.
