Historical dramas have always been my favorite genre, and this one is no exception. This drama is not known for the magnificent war scenes, but it shows the outstanding personality of Alexander the Great with a full plot, whether it is the courage and decisiveness in decision-making, the blood-simmering war mobilization before the battle, the governance of foreign countries with benevolence and righteousness. Wisdom, the means of commanding the tigers and wolves under his command, or the tenacity and domineering in the face of layers of opposition, the delicate description of language and expressions shows the uniqueness of this hero, making people feel his difference at close range. I think the highest state of a movie about legendary heroes is to make people feel that "great men are also human, but they are indeed different from ordinary people".
Like movies with similar themes, the hero's lines in this film are equally exciting and shocking. Two episodes are particularly memorable. One is the war mobilization against the Persian army before the battle. The second is that his generals are going to fight for him, but Alexander did not stop him, but said: "If you die in battle, even if Macedonia lost its king, and I will also avenge you." As soon as these words came out, all the people around them were silent. With such a master, who would not be loyal to retribution! The audience was also deeply impressed by Alexander's ability to control people.
