How come so many loopholes are not discussed

Why do I feel so many questions after watching such an awesome suspense film?

1. Why does the husband use the ringtone as a signal when he buys a murderer? Can the murderer go in and kill his wife at the appointed time? Isn't that the best alibi that a husband spends the night with his wife's lover? Why do you have to come out and make a phone call?

2. The murderer has thousands of ways to kill, why did he choose the most stupid method? Since it is a murder, don't you want to think about which method is the easiest and most direct?

3. The movie has been entangled with the key. I am very surprised that there is no key in the UK? Can't the husband give the key to the murderer himself?

In the end, I also feel that the views of foreigners and Chinese people on extramarital affairs are too far apart. The representative of China's adulterers and prostitutes, Pan Jinlian and Ximen Qing, kill everyone quickly. How can a lover end up in a foreign country?

Hitchcock's classic suspense film, based on the stage play. Starring Ray Milland and Grace Kelly, who were still underpaid at the time, both performed flawlessly~ Most of the time, the rhythm was smooth and lively, especially in the first ten minutes to complete most of the necessary information. The whole film is full of suspense, and the details are almost seamless, which makes people addicted. (8.5/10)

There is no soul to be found in the near-perfect structure and technology of [Telephone Murder]. Apparently Xifa didn't bother to think about it in this movie, but just used a few tricks to embellish a core on the outside. A deadly crime movie genre: elegant and intelligent upper-class killers calmly come up with idea after idea to make Perfect murder, but in the end the building capsized with a tiny screw. Nothing is really alive in the movie, except for that heart-pounding murder scene. The only interesting character in the film is the author of the detective novel. His presence makes the film suddenly have a meta-meaning, as if Xi Fatt is joking these people and himself with good intentions.

Dial M for Murder quotes

  • Mark Halliday: When did you find out, sir?

Chief Insp. Hubbard: Well, the first clue came quite by accident.

    [to Margot]

Chief Insp. Hubbard: We discovered that your husband had been spending a large number of pound notes all over the place - it ran into over three hundred pounds - and it appeared to have started at about the time you were arrested. Now, I had to find out where he got that money, and how. Then I remembered that after you were arrested we searched this flat, and I saw a copy of his bank statement in that desk. So yesterday afternoon, I went to the prison and asked to see your handbag. While I was doing this, I managed to lift your latchkey. Highly irregular, of course, but my blood was up. And then this morning when your husband was out, I came back here to look at his statement. I never saw it... because I never got through that door. You see, the key that I'd taken from your handbag didn't fit the lock!

  • C.A. Swan: You know, I think I must have seen you somewhere since we left Cambridge.

Tony Wendice: Ever been to Wimbledon?

C.A. Swan: That's it! Wendice. Tony Wendice. What's all this about "Fisher"?

Tony Wendice: What's all this about "Lesgate"?

    [embarrassed, Swan doesn't respond]

Tony Wendice: Would you like a cigar?
