At the end of the movie, Daniella does not believe that Rory has such a hypocritical success to continue living in peace, and forces Clayton to tell the truth, but he still argues that maybe Rory is making up the story of the old man, and then he says that he has an apartment overlooking New York and dedicated himself to him.
