This is my second nondescript film review.
After focusing all day on competitions and American dramas, I was surprised that I hadn't watched a full movie for nearly a month. I went back to my dormitory after swimming yesterday, thinking that the Wimbledon game is still two hours away, so I will find a movie to pass the time. Then I opened this "He's Just Not That Into You" on the D drive of several movies.
I remember hearing about this unreleased movie last year, because it gathered three fashion stars, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore. Judging from this cast alone, it may be another "sex and city"-like money-burning film. As for whether it can bring the latter's touch, it depends on the tension of the plot and the skill of the actors.
At the beginning of the film, the main line that runs through the entire film is pointed out-the tangled relationship between men and women. One is the date of Gigi and Conor. The other is Anna and Ben's love at first sight. The former's heart is "fawn rambling", but unfortunately the latter's "righteous words" express that he is already a husband.
After watching the first half of the movie, the relationship between the nine male and female characters may make you a little confused. Gigi, Janine, and Beth are colleagues and sisters. Anna and Mary are good friends. There seems to be no intersection between the two circles, because several male protagonists of different colors are subtly linked together. Gigi, who is frequently dating and looking for love, Janine, who does not trust her husband, Beth, who is eager to enter the palace of marriage, Anna, a graceful yoga instructor, and Mary who is addicted to finding love online~~~
and the four male protagonists also have their own Joy or sadness, Conor is deeply infatuated with Anna, Ben is in the siege of marriage, but his heart has gradually drifted away, Alex has a successful career, but always keeps a safe distance from women; Neil loves Beth deeply, but is afraid of marriage ~~~
Love at first sight doesn't always seem impressive, even to a bystander. Personally, the thing that moved me the most in the movie was the love line between Gigi and Alex. Their acquaintance is because of conor. Alex's seemingly thorough understanding of the relationship between men and women has made Gigi, who is somewhat "silly eldest sister", "obedient" to her, but Alex's slightly over-heartedness makes Gigi mistakenly think that he has a crush on her. good feeling. Although Alex consistently denied it at first, it turned out that he couldn't forget Gigi. The latter sentence "You may not get hurt or make an ass of yourself that way, but you don't fall in love that way either." opened up Alex's scars completely. Before the final kiss, I had imagined that Gigi would shut Alex out, probably because of the psychological "Happy ending is too boring" consciousness.
And there is such a person, even if her actions cross the moral bottom line, her religious adherence to the principle of love will still make you let out a sigh, even mixed with a little admiration. Anna is such a woman, and she is also the most embarrassing character in the film. Anna is sexy and beautiful, even if she is a third party, you won't think she is so frivolous. Because she was loyal to her love pursuit, she refused Conor's generous but sincere offer. She loves Ben, but for his deception, she still chooses to leave without hesitation. As for that one-night supper with Conor, it was more like a vent, and the empty, suspicious eyes in the middle of the night had already shown everything. I thought she'd be back with the eventually divorced Ben, but obviously I looked down on the character. I always feel that the role of Anna seems familiar, but I can't remember it. It seems to be in a certain Hong Kong movie~~~
There are still many touching scenes in the movie. Janine found out that Ben was lying all the time. After the catharsis scene, Alex was in front of the door For Gigi's true confession, Neil's surprising marriage proposal, Anna agreed to become Conor's ordinary friend again~~~
After watching the whole movie, I feel a little "petty bourgeoisie" "sex and city" feeling. Of course, what surprised me the most was the realistic interview footage at the end of the film, which even gave me the illusion that the actors were playing themselves. This is the follow-up account of each character in the film, and it is also the self-summary of the hero and heroine. In the eyes of others, the two characters Anna and Ben, who may have a relatively tragic ending, are the two people who cheated in the film. But for them, it's not a relief.
If life is just like the first sight, it has always been a powerless moan. Two people who love each other will inevitably make mistakes and encounter setbacks. In order to finally overcome the difficulties, the two must really work hard in one direction, even if there is a little deception and a little powerlessness in the middle, they will only become passers-by in each other's lives in the end.
