It was not until today on Encyclopedia that I found out that I had seen the old version of this film when I was in elementary school. Although I didn't watch it all, I was deeply impressed by the metal robot.
Originally it was a good theme, promoting environmental protection, but the aliens seem to be too sensitive, so they gave up for a less touching (follow) mother-son relationship?
Reeves' expressionless performance made me think that it was a waste. It's better to change Governor Arnold to do the calculation.
Alas, that Secretary of Defense is so annoying. However, it is rare for Americans to face up to the arrogance of their own country.
