Midnight in the pumpkin carriage, put on the fairy tale glass slipper

The story of "Cinderella" is well-known, and the entire movie is also strictly based on the development of the fairy tale plot, so this is also a movie that does not worry about spoilers at all. I believe that many people watching this movie no longer watch the storyline. At least I am not. The reason that drives me into the cinema is very simple, the overflow of girlish hearts, even though I am already past the age of a girl.

A lot of people have been talking about a term called "Mary Sue" lately. It is said that those sparrows who delusionally fly to the branches and become phoenixes are Mary Sue. So according to this definition, Cinderella is also a typical Mary Sue? Maybe not. The meaning of Mary Sue seems to be derogatory, but Cinderella always feels like she is having a beautiful dream. A beautiful dream that contains all the girly elements such as princes, magic, and ordinary girls can shine.

I don't know how many people are like me. When they were young, they fantasized about having a prince charming who would ride a colorful cloud to marry him. Fairy Zixia thinks this way, Cinderella thinks this way, Bella (the heroine of Twilight City) thinks this way, and even Fifty Shades of Grey has thrown herself into Mr. Gray's arms. But what about reality? It seems too cruel. As we get older, we've known for a long time that Prince Charming never existed. To get the prince's favor, it is not enough to just sit on the windowsill and sing a song. And now women are no longer satisfied with finding an ideal prince.

So, in the haze of reality for a long time, you will inadvertently forget some childhood dreams. Some movies are specially designed to tell us, let's recall our childhood, where there was once carefree, where there was once innocence. Like this "Cinderella".

Many people think of movies as a way of dreaming. I can't agree more with this point of view. Every time I walk into the theater, looking for the only big piece of light in the dark, or crying or laughing, it is not a pursuit of a dream. Thanks to "Cinderella", the pumpkin carriage and glass slipper that I fantasized about as a child have been presented to me in a concrete way. Maybe they still only exist on the screen and are out of reach, but at least it makes the girl's heart overflow a little.

After walking out of the movie theater, everyone will return to reality again. Maybe it is only in the middle of the night that they dream that their fairy godmother is waving a magic wand and chanting spells for them.
