Full screen of male hormones

I don't know much about Tarzan's past and future. I just watched this movie. After watching it, I just want to say, full of male hormones, come and see our hero, sexy and wild half-long hair, The chest muscles, abdominal muscles, and mermaid lines that show male strength, enjoy the noble life, endure the poverty of the savages, have love and righteousness, and will courtship and cry, and then what? Then it seemed like nothing.
The story is probably about the African Congolese people, in order to resist the colonial rule, under the leadership of Mount Tai, they finally recaptured the diamonds and smashed their plan to use diamonds to raise military funds and colonize and plunder the Congo. To be honest, I almost fell asleep at the beginning of the movie. I was sleepy, and the introduction was boring and boring. I heard the friend next to me say it was boring. However, the second half of the film is quite content. As the propaganda says, "fight for love", this kind of love is not only Tarzan's love for his wife, but also his love for his friends and the land that nurtured him. As the leading figure of the whole operation, Taishan can be regarded as a hero who leads the backward African people to resist the advanced colonial forces. The movie reflects the typical American heroism plot, but this hero is flesh and blood, not so powerful. But it may be precisely because of this real sense of flesh and blood that Taishan's feelings are fuller.

The mise-en-scene by David Yates is superb. The novel description of Taishan makes the audience who are familiar with the story of Taishan in the past still look forward to it. Samuel Jackson's performance is also his rare comedy performance of late. On the whole, it is fresher and more interesting than expected. Beautiful soundtrack

The Legend of Tarzan quotes

  • Jane Porter: [explaining to George as the village sings around the campfire] They are singing the legend of Tarzan. For many moons he was thought to be an evil spirit - a ghost in the trees. They speak of his power over the animals of the jungle. Because his spirit came from them. He understood them. And learned to conquer them. His ape mother, Kala, loved him as her own. And his ape brother, Akut, treated him with kindness and respect. He considered all men to be his enemies, since other tribes would hunt his troop as a rite of passage. Chief Muviro knew what he was. You must get to him. Since no man ever started with less.

  • George Washington Williams: You, are Tarzan. Lord of the apes, King of the jungle. "Me, Tarzan. You, Jane."
