The Karate Kid--A Movie About Chinese Kung Fu

The whole film is quite good, full of Chinese flavor. The film is more meaningful as an introduction to Chinese philosophy for foreigners. Only the ending is a bit too personal heroism, too American, not Chinese enough.

If I were to write the ending, I'd let Derry, who was injured in battle, lose the game because he didn't make the last punch that could seriously injure his opponent, but he won everyone's respect for it. And let the group of brave children realize the true meaning of Chinese Kung Fu. This is more perfect.
