To put it bluntly, the theme is inspirational. Wherever you fall, you must get up. Jackie Chan's explanation of the martial arts philosophy of the unity of nature and man to a twelve-year-old brat is obviously nonsense for the plot's sake. Although a young boy who is brave and ruthless and learns martial arts is designed for the purpose of creating contradictions in the story, it does give people a bad impression of instilling Chinese martial arts into the learner as being brave and ruthless and unscrupulous. It is equivalent to the innocence, kindness and enterprisingness of American little boys, but the quality of Chinese little boys is too short.
In a word, this film is an industrial product that strives to please Americans in order to earn American attention and money. Of course, it also promotes China along the way, and it is better to achieve a win-win situation.
