The whole movie looks less like science fiction, more like a fantasy movie. There are too many aliens in it, and the plot is a bit messy because of the special effects of the aliens, which makes people very distracted and unable to concentrate. The Pearl Man part is still impressive, but the ability to learn is so strong, and the feeling of the Pearl Man passing through the universe after his death is still a bit puzzling. Because there is a plot in it that the Pearl Man came to this city only to know that there are so many kinds of creatures in the universe. And I can't understand, since Pearl People have been carefree for so many centuries on their own planet, from an evolutionary point of view, how did they have such a magical ability to learn? And in the front part of the movie, there are many kinds of creatures that can't be killed by guns, which is also puzzling. So, the movie looks more like fantasy than science fiction.
The male and female protagonists of the movie look like brothers and sisters, not lovers at all. The acting skills of these two people are average. It doesn't seem to be as good as that commander. Wu Yifan is really too much soy sauce in it, and the role is optional.
All in all, this is a movie that only gets a 3 out of 10. 3 points are for special effects and various character designs.
