I guess Ed wouldn't agree with that, he doesn't think his movie is mentally retarded. Good is good, bad is bad, he likes his work.
In the special tidbits, you can see some shots of Tim Burton's filming, which is in sharp contrast to Ed's "Go Over" and "Pursue Imperfect". Every other actor, make-up artist, and soundtrack also strive for perfection (the electronic instruments used in the soundtrack are amazing).
Making a movie is a big project.
After the filming, I have to face the abuse, ridicule and scolding that may follow (for example, I feel that although the picture is black and white, it is so beautiful that it feels a little fake, so I can consider doing it a little bit old, and just have the feeling of an old movie).
But it's still worth it, isn't it? Watch what you want born and come true.
Tribute to all not-so-great artists with pure motives.
