The film has the same elements that audiences are used to seeing in sci-fi films that are both future-oriented and dystopian. Machines and artificial intelligence maintain a physical body that is no longer able to function. After completing the task to be completed, an unforeseen reversal is staged. In "Upgrade," the reversal itself didn't cause much of a shock to the audience. "Upgrade" undoubtedly wears a distinctive genre coat, but at the climax of the door, it reveals the creator's deep intentions, discussing the changes of the body, in fact, to touch the soul.
