"The Cloverfield File" "Death Video"

They are all stories told from the subjective perspective of DV machines. The recorders of the two films can be called contemporary Capa, especially the latter's own news consciousness, which is more delicate and sincere than the convoluted "Blair Witch". It gives the audience what they want to see, and at the same time makes full use of the sense of rough edges to emphasize the authenticity and has a strong sense of impact.

"Clover File" has the backing of big-name JJ, and it has gathered popularity before it is released, and the aura created by the film itself is indeed worthy of its reputation.

The Spanish film "Death Video" has a relatively small format, but Niu Jiu Niu created a big surprise in the small format. There are not many movies where secret rooms and zombies can scare people, and this one is one.

ps: Although this form of selfie can create a strong sense of presence and realism, it is also very limited. Besides, everyone knows that this is a movie, and it’s a novelty even if you watch it too much, so stop here. Bar.

I’ve seen Quarantine before, it’s a remake of this version, and I think it sucks. I’ve seen the original version and I have to say that the subject matter is still very good. I like this pseudo-documentary style.

I love the ending, very abrupt!

REC quotes

  • Sergio: Tell us everything you know.

Health Inspector: Okay. Okay. Yesterday, we received a call from a vet who had a dog brought in with an unknown disease. The dog went into a coma and a few moments later came to, and was extraordinarily aggressive. He started attacking all of the pets at the clinic. We had to give him several tranquilizers and then put him to sleep. We followed the chip in his ear, which led us to this building.

Ángela: One moment - was the dog called Max?

    Health Inspector: Yes.

  • Sergio: [upon seeing Jennifer] What happened to her eyes?
