Last week's cloverfield is still in my head, today's REC is coming again...I'm a little dizzy - "tonsillitis"? !
Has this kind of film with movie characters as the first point of view become a genre? It's a long way from sci-fi to horror.
No, no, it should have been there a long time ago. Think about it, its originator should be some pornography, right? Yes, many pornographic films are based on the perspective of the male protagonist.
However, cloverfield and REC are much more difficult to shoot than these raw films, and the angles are much richer than the single overhead shot of the raw film (in other words, it is a lot more "dizzy").
Of course, there are a lot of things in common. Needless to say, the shooting methods are the same, but there are also some other things, such as the limited scenes and characters, and the weak storyline (not necessarily a disadvantage for raw films)... Well, and the most important point: they all suck!
However, there are differences in this "horrible": one is "cool to death" and the other is "really horrible".
Movies of this type must be unbearable on the big screen, so I don't think they'd be suitable for a movie theater - you see, it's the same place as a raw film again.
Well, why don't we just call them "mael-like films"?
Like a film... These warm words are so longing.
