When I first saw the promo, I thought it was going to be a downright funny movie. It's actually quite informative. There will be a lot of singing and dancing in Indian movies, and this is also a feature of them. The singing and dancing are in line with the development of the plot. It feels a bit messy at the beginning of the movie, PK an alien who doesn't know anything about Indian religions, but starts practicing every religion in order to get home. Just like every newborn baby, their religious beliefs cannot be decided by themselves, and it is often the elders in the family who decide.
This movie also interprets the scene that many people use the banner of religion to sway and deceive.
At the end of the film, there is also a very warm picture. Jia Gu and his beloved are finally together, but PK can only take the tapes back to his planet.
It's great to be able to make such a film that criticizes religion in a country as religious as India!
