Whenever I want to escape, I want to escape to where in my dream. There are mountains, rivers and seas in the movie. Occasionally, my heart escapes to a beautiful place, but my heart is still trapped in the family. I always want to wear off my strict father, or say Father's sternness.
The father of the male protagonist has ambitions but always fails. In the face of adversity in his career, he has no room for his bad temper to be revealed in his family, his wife and his children. The dinner table that should carry the family communication, after being asked by his father not to speak loudly or play around, became a stinging blanket that had to face his father's strict rules.
Why in the end can a father have the right to sanction the family. Perhaps because of his wife's dependence and weakness, she secretly tolerates the children's innocence or willfulness. She seldom fights, but at most just angrily returns to the bedroom from the kitchen, or asks "why" about her beliefs.
A movie with a strong stream of consciousness has a thousand answers, because the form of the movie is open and obscure.
To tell the truth, after watching this movie once, I only understand about it. The male protagonist is reconciling with his childhood, his father, and his family, but can he really reconcile, and who should apologize? I often think that a play without bad actors can also lead to a less than happy ending. Can't tell who is the bad guy, the male protagonist's father's stern character may be because he had an unhappy childhood.
We are always on the way to avoid repeating the same mistakes and go on the original road, avoiding all visible forms like that, but failing to solve the root cause in our hearts. It is said that those who are close to Zhu are red and those who are close to ink are black. But personality changes, after all, are not multiple-choice questions about turning left or turning right.
