anyway, a completely 2 hours waste of my life. literately almost fall in sleep several times. the movie try to talk about everything, love, life, pain, nature, religion, family, death, grow up, no, not to talk, but to educate, from top look down. do you feel good, Terrence? the womb, the mono-log about 'father, mother, love' creeps me out, i'm glad, sometimes life is just simple, and we don' t need to be ashamed about that we are not deep enough to follow this movie. and the dinosaur, seriously? how much a scientist would laugh about it. do you really need to try to explain everything about life? even the evolution? in a cartoon-ish way? a lot of people must go to this movie because of the actors. don't want to talk about Shawn Pan too much, he was excellent in' the thin red line'. let's talk about Brad Pitt.i warned my friends before we watched it. i have a feeling Pitt guy lost his sense for movies, and character in life these years. he is not young and hot anymore, it's weird though he has many kids, he doesn't look like a loving father to me either, and he is not as good as an actor like Shawn Pan. Simply, he is stuck. thus he pick movies, genus movies he thought, to get his way out. you can't find your way through other people's work, it gonna fail you, like Benjamin, don't like that movie either. and like 'the tree of life'Simply, he is stuck. getting out of the movie theater, i finally can breath and laugh also. the movie is like cult, make me uncomfortable. i feel insulted sitting there, no one gets life, but you? yet, can you be more lost? do you know what do you want to say?
or, maybe, as we guessed, there will be a second one, and fill all the plot, and make this story somehow meaningful? looking forward to that.
