Fortunately, I only waited half a year

They have 20 years to prepare, but still can not beat the first one.

I want to say, fortunately, I only waited for half a year... Think about it, before the high-definition re-engraved version appeared, I swiped the old version on the small screen the mood of the comrades. That's right, the picture looks better, and the sound effects are even more shocking, but what about the feelings? What about the most important soul of a movie? What about the basic plot of the movie?

Watching "Independence Day" for the first time, marveled at the appropriate variety of multiple roles, even the smallest supporting role properly completes his/her part, like a well-trained symphony orchestra playing the badge perfectly, everyone's Every little thing comes together to make July 4th the great day of Independence Day for all mankind. However, when it comes to the sequel, the supporting roles appear redundant, empty, embarrassing, and take up time! The rhythm is chaotic, everyone is busy with different things, and there is not much connection between different things, and it does not seem to have anything to do with the center of the film - if this is a movie with a focus and a center. In the past, "Independence Day" gave people a sense of urgency that was about to suffocate every minute. When the sequel is gone, the paragraphs are not smoothly connected, and it feels very scattered.

But still, it's a movie for people to go to the cinema, the special effects are more refined, the soundtrack is smoother, and the (spoiler) reversal skills of the climax are also good. And somewhat progressively, another film after "A Space Odyssey 2001" finally acknowledges that highly intelligent creatures eventually evolve into pure energy mode, and will help other more "primitive" societies resist alien "reapers". I like this setting. Compared with the so-called "dark forest", the ultimate goal of low-level creatures in the whole universe is to perish together. If there are bad people, of course, there will be police to deal with them. Otherwise, wouldn't life be completely meaningless?

Another spoiler and rant, why kill the (former) president? It's not enough to blow up the White House so many times. Why kill such a self-sacrificing and such great leader? The first episode used a computer virus to destroy the mother ship. Is it smarter to send a president to a suicide attack in the sequel? As a result, the "Queen Bee" has not been killed! And he didn't give such a classic and exciting speech, and just died silently. Although this episode previewed a female president, the president died even worse than a vase. Why is this happening? So deliberately destroying the image of American spiritual American leader American world police American hegemony, just to make the movie sell a few more money? However, it turns out that the director is not an American... Compared with this, QQ, Mengniu, and baby are really not that good...

and that mountain is too bad. It should have been the most important person to protect the world, at least the whole of the United States. ——The president's sanctuary, and the result was all done in one attack, not as good as Area 51. Why hasn't "Noah's Ark" like "2012" been built in 20 years? Is the film fund not enough to do special special effects, or is the director's self-esteem not allowed to copy his own film?

I came back from the cinema, re-watched the first movie, and got back my excitement~ Fortunately, my mood was not spoiled by the sequel
