Movies about this kind of theme seem to be particularly moving. Although I don’t like the very similar southern beasts, the descriptions of family, love, growth and youth in MUD are quite satisfactory, but they are better in terms of sincerity and details. Sometimes adults There are really no children who are brave and direct. Maybe the quagmire of life is too deep, and some things may not be seen clearly by children, or even if they can understand it, they do not have the courage to change it. On the contrary, the braveness and decisiveness of the little protagonist Ellis in it make the hero ashamed. The difference in the attitude of the two towards love is really quite big. Ellis is fresh or impulsive or at least able to face it. It was interesting that Ellis was bitten by a snake in the later design of the film, suggesting similarities with the male protagonist. Maybe the two were very similar at the beginning, and then the male protagonist gave up the entanglement and started life again. Finally, The vast waters above the Mississippi might be a hint of a broader future, and Ellis is starting a new life. The soundtracks and pictures on the back of the two Ellis cars are so touching, great!
