Is it a horror movie? isn't it? I didn't feel the horror, just a slight shock. People should not be too loose. How lonely and hopeless people are when their hands and feet are bound. When life is tied under the knife and fork of strangers, there may be only screaming and begging.
Elegant hunting. Really nice business card. I remember watching a movie where a lot of slave-like people were put into the wilderness, and then the people on horseback started chasing and killing them. The scene of primitive hunting appeared again, but it was human life that was hunted.
There are such clips in Chinese and foreign movies. There are Chinese martial arts novels and foreign horror movies. I am very skeptical, is the film as art drawn from the real world? If so, is the so-called progress of human beings only the change of prey - from low-level animals to high-level animals?
What a terrible thing to imagine. Where exactly should we stand as appreciators, sympathizing with the victim or enjoying the aesthetics of violence? The answer is neither. We should have compassion for our own and others' lives and respect our own and others' wishes. Even if you can't do this, you can't reduce yourself to a lower animal.
People are so weird. An elegant gentleman by day, but a fierce beast by night. The anatomist in the movie is a bit like Hopkins, who looks polite and humorous, but has bloody hands behind his back.
I can only appreciate movies, and I can only be in awe of life and the lives of others.
