I give up

The total length of this movie is 02:39:50 and I quited on 01:21:18.
The name of this film is like some kind of biography, and the movie started with a lot of asides. Thanks the asides, without them I could never understand the story through the dialogues.
Prad Pett always acts some legends in movies recently. And I just don't know why so many audiences buy him.
The story should be nice cause Jesse James is some guy like heros in LiangShan to American people. But the rhythm of the movie is tooooo sluggish. There is always sharp edge for this kind of movie. It could be a great movie like A River Runs Through or a somehow slow movie.
Someone told that the later part of the movie is quite exciting. But for me, lukily I'm not living on movie comment writing, It's enough.

    [Bob nervously smiles]

Jesse James: You ever see that woman up in Fayette, can suck noodles up 'er nose? In Fayette?

Robert Ford: No. I don't believe I have.

Jesse James: Never heard of her? Huh? She got canals up there you never dreamed of.

  • Dick Liddil: Did you cook this, ma'am?

Sarah Hite: I've got a nigga woman.

Major George Hite: [short of hearing] How's that?

Sarah Hite: [louder and slower] Dick asked if I cooked this!

    Major George Hite: Did ya?

    Sarah Hite: ...No!
