Bergman's Apocalypse

#yingmarbergman#black and white#nihility#three brushes#values#existentialism#God is dead This is the third time I've watched this movie, but this time it made me realize why watching a movie is a Step by step process. There are really some things that you have to keep reading to understand! For example, the number "seven" in the movie seems to be the starting point and the end point of reincarnation, which goes on and on and on. In this mysterious symbol, what Bergman wants to reveal is about the mysterious relationship between God and human beings; there is also the scene at the end of the film, at the last moment of life, the knight is actually facing the body and the "soul". This "fading" illuminates the darkness when one is ready to walk into the unknown future with confidence when the fate of death is lost. At this moment, death is no longer a denial of life, but a force that awakens life, affirms life, and inspires life upward. I think this is a process of living to the death. Only when there are such people in the world will awaken more people who dare to face their own lives bravely and explore! Finally, I have to admit that even after watching it 50 times and 100 times, I may still not understand the full meaning of the film. But that's okay, because my re-creation of it after watching it and the re-creation of it by more people who love movies has given it even more life!
