8:1 When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about two hours.
8:2 I saw the seven angels standing before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
8:3 Another angel came and stood by the altar, holding a golden censer. Much incense was given to him, to be offered on the golden altar before the throne with the prayers of the saints.
8:4 The smoke of the incense, and the prayers of the saints, ascended to God from the hands of the angels.
8:5 The angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and poured it out on the ground. With thunder, loud noises, lightning, earthquakes.
8:6 The seven angels with the seven trumpets were ready to blow.
8:7 The first angel blew his trumpet, and hail and fire mixed with blood were thrown to the ground. A third of the ground and a third of the trees were burned, and all the green grass was burned.
8:8 The second angel blew his trumpet, and it was thrown into the sea like a mountain on fire. A third of the sea became blood.
8:9 A third of the living creatures of the sea died. The ship was also damaged by a third.
8:10 The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great burning star fell like a torch from heaven, and fell on a third of the rivers, and on the fountains of waters.
8:11 The name of the star is Yin. A third of the waters became wormwood. Because the water became bitter, many people died.
8:12 The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun, a third of the moon, and a third of the morning star were struck. So that a third of the sun, moon, and stars were darkened, and a third of the day was without light, and so was the night.
8:13 And I saw an eagle flying in the air, and heard him say in a loud voice, Three angels will blow the rest of the trumpets, woe, woe, woe, you people who live on the earth.
9:1 The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star fall from heaven to the earth. He was given the keys of the abyss.
9:2 He opened the bottomless pit, and smoke went up from the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. The sun and the sky were darkened by the smoke.
9:3 Locusts came out of the smoke and flew to the ground. Power was given to them, like the power of scorpions on the earth.
9:4 And he commanded them, Thou shalt not injure the grass on the ground, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but those who do not have the mark of God on their foreheads.
9:5 But the locusts shall not kill them, but they shall suffer for five months. The pain is like the pain of a scorpion sting.
9:6 In those days people asked to die, but they would not die. Willing to die, but death shuns them.
9:7 The shape of the locusts was like a horse prepared for battle, with a crown of gold on its head, and a face like the face of a man.
9:8 His hair was like the hair of a woman, and his teeth were like the teeth of a lion.
9:9 There was an armor on his breast like an iron armor. The sound of their wings was like the sound of many chariots and horses running into battle.
9:10 Has a tail like a scorpion. The poison sting on the tail can hurt people for five months.
9:11 The angel of the abyss is their king. In Hebrew, his name was Abaddon, and in Greek, his name was Apollyon.
9:12 The first plague has passed, and two more plagues are to come.
9:13 The sixth angel sounded the trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four corners of the golden altar before God.
9:14 And he commanded the sixth angel who sounded the trumpet, saying, Bind the four who are bound in the great river Euphrates. The messenger is released.
9:15 The four angels were released. They were prepared to kill a third of them at a certain time in a certain year and certain month.
9:16 The horse army numbered twenty million. I have heard their numbers.
9:17 I saw in the vision the horses and the riders, with armor like fire on their chests, and onyx and brimstone. The head of the horse was like the head of a lion, with fire, smoke, and brimstone coming out of the horse's mouth.
9:18 The fire, and the smoke, and the brimstone, which came out of the mouth, killed a third of the people.
9:19 The power of this horse is in its mouth and its tail. For the tail is like a serpent, and it has a head for harm.
9:20 The rest, who have not been killed by these plagues, still do not repent of what their own hands have done, but go to worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, wood, and stone that cannot see, hear, or walk .
9:21 And they did not repent of their murder, their sorcery, their adultery, and their theft.
10:1 And I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed in a cloud, and with a rainbow on his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet were like pillars of fire.
10:2 In his hand the little scroll was unfolded. His right foot on the sea, his left foot on the ground.
10:3 They cried out with a loud voice, like a lion roaring, and when they had finished, seven thunders sounded.
10:4 After the sound of the seven thunders, I was about to write it, when I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up what the seven thunders say, and do not write.
10:5 The angel I saw, who treads the sea and the earth, raised his right hand toward heaven,
10:6 He pointed to him who made the heavens and the things that are in them, the earth and things that are on the earth, and the sea and things that are in the sea, until he lived For ever and ever, swear, there will be no more days. [Or do not delay anymore]
10:7 But when the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, the mystery of God was fulfilled, as God had preached to his servants the prophets.
10:8 And the voice which I heard before from heaven commanded me to say, Go and fetch the little scroll that is unfolded in the hand of the angel who treads the sea and the earth.
10:9 I went to the angel and said to him, Give me the little scroll. He said to me, when you have all the dick, it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be sweet as honey in your mouth.
10:10 I took the little scroll from the angel's hand, and I was done. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. After □, the stomach feels bitter.
10:11 The angels [they] said to me, You will prophesy again concerning many peoples, many nations, many lands, and many kings.
