The homeless Chaplin saved a drunk to recognize his rich friend. He also went to a boxing for the blind girl's $22 monthly rent. In the end, he lost. The local rich friend gave him $1,000, but he was robbed. After being knocked unconscious, the bandit forgot about it. Fortunately, Chaplin took some money to escape, and gave the money to the blind girl to pay rent for her eyes, but she was put in prison because of this. After Lin was released from prison, he met the girl who had his eyes healed. The girl finally recognized him, and the ending was happy.
