God said, "Let there be light." God was right. Human society has developed to the present, and the sun, moon, stars, torches, and electric lamps can all bring light to mankind. anything else? The light of civilization? What about the light in the human soul? The light of humanity? The movie called City Lights is all about light. Chaplin's comedy, as always, deduces the little people, the joys and sorrows of the little people. After laughing, it's fascinating, thought-provoking, and has a profound theme.
