If all the movies are about to disappear, only one will remain, and there is a high probability that City Lights will only stop at the candidate list. If only five minutes of footage were left, City Lights would most likely be honored. If only three minutes of the ending are left, and someone doesn't choose City Lights, he must not have seen the movie. Einstein, a friend of Chaplin's, was invited to the premiere of City Lights. At the end of the film, Chaplin sees Einstein wiping tears. A few weeks later, Einstein finished reading "Modern Times" again and wrote to Chaplin, "My theory of relativity no one can understand, and you are already a great man."
