Movies worth watching

I'm a little late to this movie, but it's one I wanted to see because I saw the trailer and saw it was an interesting one. Based on Disney theme parks, but adding a unique story, the film opens up with a pretty intense opening that reminds me a lot of Hugo, a visually good looking sequence with Frank Walker's jetpack. After that (with the opening commentary of the two main characters), we opened up on Newton Casey's Frankenstein Life, a bit of an over-the-top treatise for my taste. When she finally found the needle, she made her way to a comic book store and some action really started and we started to meet Athena, a young girl who frankly met who gave Kathy's feet, and the old frank Pacers, played George Clooney, who did a great job in this movie. Rafi Cassidy, who plays Athena, who has multiple screen tests in London and the US, really stole most of her scene shows. Not only her various stunt fighting robots, but her acting is so much more mature than her basically the whole movie (even the touching scene, at the end of the film) makes me forget she was a child actress during this period, It's really cool. Eventually we meet those droids chasing Casey and she takes her to Edison's house and some people are persuading (and a really cool and creative use of the Eiffel Tower as a secret entrance) that they give it to the future, but It's not because people don't believe it. The "leader" of robot evil, I guess you could say, gave a future on how we need more, it was well written, I think, it's going to be a scene, I think I can watch it again, give I am inspired and I need to tell me that I have to keep going no matter what I do, because the future doesn't just happen, if I put things in the future it will also be delayed, for example. (Brad Bird even said that filming on set was difficult because of special effects or stunts, those days were temporary, and the movie lives forever. ) Overall, I really like the story. I like to accumulate, how people venture a lot from Casey's journey until they find the future entrance to everything comic shop, but they accumulate too much. There were about 57(ish) days to the end of the world and they fixed it, and in two minutes (yes, it was a touching scene, but still), it made me feel very anticlimactic. If Casey had found the code twenty minutes earlier, they would have had more room to add a little more to the epic final battle with the droids, and maybe they could have explored more of the ruins of the land. But I really like the ending of the movie when it shows that all the creative people in the world are getting help to help build something without financial or political distractions. (So I can be there with my feet and I don't have any distracting composing! Excellent!)
Speaking of music (you know all my reviews have to have some reference to music) Michael, Giacchino (who does things like, Ratatouille, and the most recent Star Trek movies) scored on that. I didn't quite notice the score the whole time, but there were a lot of threads I knew and liked. For the Tomorrowland theme there is some cool master piano stuff, coupled in magnificent brass. I once noticed a unique string written high glissandos when Casey sneaked into Frank's house at one point (I think). Giacchino said he usually composes films from beginning to end, so he can develop better results. It really does a lot of work, has pretty intense business scenes with lots of brass hitting the necessary points, and a very grand payoff to the main theme that ends the movie showing it who we are now to build our future , because it's black person to credit. It's a unique harmonic development score that I like and is something I think I can enjoy listening to as background music and really picking apart from watching a movie in a second or third.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience with this movie. There's an abundance of comedy to create a family-friendly Disney feel, and an abundance of adventure, which I really like, in stores for Casey and others. I don't really like the climax of the movie, but I think the message in the movie is good and hopefully inspires anyone to watch it. Since it's probably from theaters (soon) right now, I would recommend anyone to get a CD of it and give it a go.

Perhaps the expectations were high. Looking at the trailer, I thought that Disney could come up with a good sci-fi film, but it turned out to be a sub-standard Disney-only live-action cartoon fantasy promotional film for children. The plot from the beginning to the end of 20 minutes is full of grooves, except for the Eiffel Tower, Disney has no innovation, and the people who read the lines are drowsy. However, it is recommended that kindergarten children can visit in groups. Disney should still make good animations.

Similarly, the visual effect is very prominent. It ended Hugh Laurie to death. . . Very dissatisfied. . .

Tomorrowland quotes

  • [last lines]

Casey Newton: [voice over] First order of business... get the door back open. Couldn't hurt to get a few experienced engineers over here. Next...

Frank Walker: [voice over] Put the party back on... and print out some new invitations.

[Now cut to Frank and Casey speaking in front of an audience of androids like Athena]

Frank Walker: Which brings us to why we're here today. A year ago, it was all supposed to be over... we shouldn't even be here, but we are. It isn't hard to knock down a big, evil building that's telling everybody that the world's going to end. What is hard... is figuring out what to build in its place, and if we're going to do that... we can't do it alone. We're going to need all of you...

Young British Recruiter: [raises his hand] Frank Walker. May I ask a question?

    Frank Walker: Sure!

Young British Recruiter: The search parameters you've given us, while mathematically sound, are a bit... undefined. Could you be more specific, please?

Frank Walker: Well, Miss Newton. You want to tell our recruiters what they're looking for?

Casey Newton: Dreamers... we are looking for dreamers. Anyone who will feed the right wolf.

[start handing out cases of Tomorrowland buttons]

Frank Walker: So... I once told your predecessor that she was nothing but a combination of ones and zeroes. I was wrong. She was much more than that. You are much more than that, too. So, go out there and do she would've done. Find the ones who haven't given up. They're the future.

  • Athena: There are things I need to tell you before the final... before the automated program kicks in. I'm a machine, I never thought that was bad until I saw your face when you found out I was.

    Frank Walker: I always knew...

    Athena: No you didn't...

Computer Voice: Systems failing. Activating last thoughts saved for Frank Walker.

    [Voice-Over]

Athena: Log 15. September. 1965. Frank Walker is looking at me in a manner that is difficult to recognize. It seems imperative to explain to him that I'm an audio-animatronic...

    Frank Walker: Athena...

Athena: ...But I'm concerned that he may be adversely affected when he finds out that I'm not human. He has potential. I don't want to damage it. He needs someone to believe in him and I am fulfilling that need. He's my top recruit. Log 24. October. 1965. I'm having unusual thoughts towards Frank Walker. I suspect a flaw in my empathy interface. I'm thinking I should report it... but I haven't. I cannot explain why. Log 78. April. 1984. Frank Walker has been banished by Governor Nix. He says he's lost hope and he holds me responsible for having given it to him in the first place. I do not understand this. He says I never will, because I do not feel anger... or disappointment... or love.

    Computer Voice: End recording.

Athena: I was designed to find dreamers... I found you... and lost you. But I found her... Casey. Dreamers need to stick together. It's not programming, it's personal.
