The plot is better than I imagined. I just saw the trailer and thought it was an old routine.
The plot turned out well. A very realistic story. As soon as I came out of school, I gradually understood those movies from the past. Everyone will be tempted by money. The male protagonist's comrades can't stand the temptation, and it's normal. It's different with a family, and so are the mercenaries, for their own family.
The male protagonist in the film is well portrayed, flesh and blood, and not sensational, resonating in an adult way.
There are plenty of action scenes, but not superfluous. The director is a stand-in, which is very careful. American action scenes like to switch shots to stimulate the audience's emotions. There are many wide-angle shots in Hong Kong.
But the shots of this film are not as blurry as in The Bourne, and every action can be clearly seen.
But I still like Jackie Chan's shots.
The soundtrack at the end, the soundtrack feels very ordinary to me, but it fits the plot perfectly, especially the section on the bridge at the end, the sound is slow and soft, not sensational. Express what the male protagonist did by cutting the male protagonist's memories.
