It's over, what else do you need a bike for?

After seeing Mr. Hai's handsome cover on the NETFLIX homepage, I finally watched this film today. The first is that the background of the film is set in India and Bangladesh, which is refreshing. Asam and his neighbors let the world know that drug lords are not only living in magical Latin America, but also active in the vast Indian peninsula. It is a pity that the depiction of the scene in the whole film does not show the local characteristics (I believe it is Medellin), the only thing that feels "inner taste" is that Mr. Hai hid under the manhole cover and said, "We will be here. The smelliest sewer in the world".

After reading some film critics, they all criticized the plot for its thinness. I thought that as a pure action movie, I would be satisfied as long as the plot could reach the level of a sketch of the Spring Festival Gala. The farther the city is, the more powerful the character setting and dog fighting depend on the owner's motives, and "Shocking Rescue" even has a bit of grounding (?). It's like someone gave you a Ferrari. It's a pity that you have to say that this car is good, but that it can only seat two people.

At the beginning of the film, I wanted to use the shortest time to portray the mercenary played by Mr. Hai into the image of me being tough but kind. High diving ➕ cosplay Aquaman directly told the audience "I have something in my heart". This level of literary drama can be regarded as a reluctance to explain the reason why Mr. Hai, as a mercenary, neither seeks money nor sacrifices his life, but not much nonsense after a 10-minute scene also declares that the director said that he wanted to touch the soul and body but Very honest, don't expect anything about the plot, it's over.

Although the plot is simple (and a little bumpy), the action part really got me hooked. Mr. Hai really worked hard to get out of the comfort zone of only waving a hammer and saying a few witty words. He made meat moves, and guns hit people. He even felt that his movement speed was 0.5 times faster than John Wick. The scheduling of photography has always maintained a tense and confrontational atmosphere. Needless to say, the long shots are also explained very clearly in the fight scenes, and there is no fancy editing to feed the audience. The villain is a bit more inked, and to a certain extent occupies Mr. Hai's limited literary and drama time, but the characters are well established, with ruthlessness and style, and they look more like a hero than the boy's father in prison. .

Last but not least, my favorite (and maybe only?) female character in the entire film: the Iranian goddess Golshifteh Farahani. In just a few minutes of appearance, shooting through the helicopter first and then headshot the general, I feel that if I sent her earlier, the boy might have gone back to the nightclub and bragged with his friends now.

One star for my goddess

The action drama is good, but it can be better, and it is not as good as those in Indonesia. The 10-minute long shot is okay, but it's just okay. Committed to the same problem as "Tom Yum Goong", the form is greater than the content, and the pursuit of time is too long and the appreciation is sacrificed. And half of these 10 minutes are not from the protagonist's perspective. Taking one "okay" 10-minute shot is better than taking 10 "excellent" one-minute shots. The effect will be much better than it is now, and the difficulty will be much less. I still hope that Chris Hemsworth can take fewer action movies and take more movies like "Fast Wind". Every actor should not be defined, especially should not be defined by oneself. You are also a first-line superstar, and you have many choices.

It’s a half-star. It’s not very comfortable. It’s a cheap web drama style. The plot is pretty decent. Although the logic is not good, it’s good to play. It’s a rescue, it’s a small war of ten; two; The tough male protagonist, the two failed fathers, is the protagonist's halo or not, in the end...this is quite interesting, like the heroine Gershfield Farah, so beautiful.

  • Nik Khan: You're hoping if you spin the chamber enough times, you're going to catch a bullet.

  • Gaspar: The best thing you can do is go put a bullet in his brain. Make it painless. Because the animals out there are not going to be as kind to him.
