Timeline is the key to clarifying the story

I feel that this story is not simultaneous, and the key to the storyline is the issue of chronological order.

The film starts with spiders. I don't think it means "desire" as everyone said. On the contrary, spiders are things that make people lose their desires, killing the desire and desire of pig horns for women. In the last scene, when her wife turns into a spider, I think it might be a sign that he's bored and that he's going out to steal.
He got the key of a mistress, started the relationship between adam and his mistress as a teacher, and finally ended in a car accident with his mistress. This is also the source of his scars.

Of course, there may be another possibility, that is, it started with the teacher Adam, and the mistress found the ring mark on his hand and knew that he would be separated from him when he was married, resulting in a car accident. In the end, he returned to his pregnant wife, but he also hoped to be able to steal and get another key.

The director's mystique sells very well, or the whole story is like a circle, no matter where it starts and ends with one of the characters, in the end, the result is the same.

Enemy quotes

  • Anthony: Control, it's all about control. Every dictatorship has one obsession and that's it. In ancient Rome they gave the people bread and circuses. They kept population busy with entertainment but other dictatorships used other strategies to control ideas, the knowledge... how do they do that? Lower education, they limit culture, censor information, they censor any means of individual expression and is important to remember this, that this is a pattern, that repeats itself through out history.

  • Teacher at School: Where There's a Will There's a Way.

    Anthony: It's true.

Teacher at School: No, it's a movie, I saw it a little while ago but um... I remember it was... I liked it.

    Anthony: Hmm. Where There's a Will There's a Way.

Teacher at School: Yeah, that's it. Local film, if you...

Anthony: I'll keep it in mind.
