Whose clothes are not a bunch of fleas

I have always kept a distance from films with labels such as thriller and suspense, especially in rainy weather. The more wonderful the film, the more empathetic and creepy it is. However, with the growth of my mind, I found that I actually liked more and more films with this theme. As the plot developed, I explored the cause and effect together with the story characters, reasoned and analyzed together, or even fell into contemplation and confusion with them. When the truth comes out, join them in a fun way, relax and feel relieved. In fact, except for those movies with too many bugs and exaggerated acting skills, I rarely bother about the details of the movie, but more about what kind of story it tells, whether I accept the emotions it wants to convey, and do I like it? How it makes me feel.

Just like many people think that in "The Girl on the Train", the heroine's ex-husband cheated on the ex-husband, cheated on the current one, and finally killed his lover. He is definitely the best among scumbags! And the male protagonist's motive for murder is too far-fetched, and he actually abuses his ex-wife in front of the current one. It's unreasonable to be so stupid. But for me, I don't really have anything unreasonable. Besides, the movie itself has its dramatic color. You can't judge whether the story in the movie is reasonable or not based on your own life philosophy. Besides, the stories in novels and movies are not from real life. I have heard a true story: in the emotional entanglement between three women and one man, although the scumbag didn't kill anyone, he first asked Xiaosan to divorce his wife. With the appearance of Xiaosi, Xiaosan and his wife formed an alliance Fighting against men together, one of them wants to get more alimony, and the other wants to destroy the current happiness of the scumbag.

The movie narrates the development process of the story through different time points, and the jumping timeline makes it a little unclear, so it does not affect the viewing effect. Personally, I still think this is a bit redundant. It is better to tell the story well. The subtle relationship between the three women is already very interesting.

Rachel is a poor woman, abandoned by her ex-husband and addicted to alcohol. She envied her ex-husband's current wife, Anna. She has her own children. She lives in that beautiful and warm big house and has such a considerate husband. She took everything from herself, so Rachel envied her and hated her deeply. Rachel is also envious of Meigen. She glimpses a few moments of Meigen's life from the car window every day. These fragments are enough to make her fantasize about Meigen's happiness. She concludes that this girl has everything she has lost, and everything she wants: She's what i lost, she's everything i want to be. So what is the real life of these two women who Rachel envies?

Meigen, a gorgeous woman who was imprisoned by her husband in a sense, could not hide the emptiness and decadence in her eyes no matter how beautifully she dressed herself. Losing her first child at the age of 17 due to her own mistakes is a hurdle she will never overcome. Perhaps it is precisely because of this sense of hopelessness in life that conquering a man can bring her a sense of existence, and finally died in the hands of a scumbag.

Anna, a successful junior, became a mother after marriage. She has nothing to do except her children every day, but she is powerless to contend with the boring life. The husband who looks caring and loves her is actually a beast. He ruined the life of his ex-wife Rachel, and he has been betraying himself to mess around outside. All the happiness that Anna has is false, but she pretends to be completely ignorant.

These three poor women, whose lives are interconnected, are each unhappy in their own world. What should they do? Who is the murderer of Meigen? This gloomy and melancholy tone permeates the entire film, and it wasn't until 1 hour and 44 minutes, when Rachel successfully resisted and inserted a screwdriver into her ex-husband's neck, that I finally felt that a hole had finally been opened under the cloudy sky; Anna, who stood by her husband and raped Rachel, finally woke up, and she stabbed her husband in the neck a few times. I felt a light finally shine on the ground; they were taken to the police station for a lecture, when Anna said When "She was right about everyhing", the title in the movie finally cleared up. This short one-minute plot completely brought the movie to a climax, and my sorrow and helplessness, which had been backlogged for more than an hour, were all opened up at this moment.

Rachel got on the train again, this time in a different car, looked out the window and said, "Today, I sit in a different car. And I look ahead. Anything is possible. Because I am not the girl I used to be ." At this time, Rachel has a new look, and the clothes on her life are no longer tattered. Although it is not expensive, she sews it stitch by stitch. This unpretentious dress looks artistic and vicissitudes, and most importantly, there are no fleas underneath.

The Girl on the Train quotes

  • Tom: Jesus Christ, Rachel, what the hell is wrong with you? I spent the last hour looking around for you. You scared the shit out of Anna, do you know that? She thought you were gonna... she wanted to call the police. So just... leave us alone. You can ruin your own life if you want to but you're not going to destroy ours. I'm not going to protect you any more.

  • Martha: Tom got fired because he couldn't keep his dick in his pants. I felt so bad for you. He's such a bad guy.
