The plot is complex and twisted, and it is mostly driven by various dialogues, all of which are stylized and informative, and they are piled up to be confusing. People of all colors have their own misconceptions, and their words are full of flirting. Knowing that Bogart and Bacall were married later, the film itself is more like a confuse behavior award.
