sci-fi tenderness

Did Prot come from the K-pax star?

The movie shrewdly blurs this conclusion. One of the charms of soft sci-fi movies is to make those who want to believe believe it, and those who don't want to believe it doesn't matter. Let the audience guess and prove it. Similar to "The Man From Earth".

The film's bright line is the process of the protagonist's "healing" of Port. The dark line is that Port is looking for a support for the body he is hosting.

In the process, the film seems to show the "arrogance" of human beings - bound by known theories, unwilling to believe everything Prot has about K-pax.

Taking the place of "Crazy Asylum", I have to say that this setting is a bit "chicken thief". Just like "12 Monkeys", the "alien" coming to the lunatic asylum makes the plot seem absurd and reasonable. There will be debates about the authenticity of K-PAX.

What is the purpose of Prot's trip to Earth? If the end of the story is a conclusion, it is, as the protagonist says, "as if he chose me", a journey to redeem the protagonist. Help the protagonist to reconcile his family and heal the sick. In exchange, the protagonist will take care of his friend.

It can be said that this movie is very exciting. It constructs the impact of the aliens on the earth after the arrival, or the reflection of the earth people on themselves.

- the importance of family

--arrogant

——The ever-present and always-forgotten human self-healing

But he will feel that his core story is not exciting enough, not as shocking as "This Man From Earth".

It's a relatively gentle story in a sci-fi movie, right?
