This is not a movie review, it's a personal opinion
A movie in which Commander High polishes his acting skills. I don't need to talk nonsense about the background of the story. There are a few things about this movie that are worth mentioning.
1. Armstrong's daughter died of illness, and he finally (secretly) left his daughter's bracelet on the moon. I don't know if the scene of leaving the bracelet is true. It was beautifully shot, just like the scene in "Titanic" where Ross threw the heart of the ocean into the ocean.
2. The process of landing on the moon has twists and turns, and there are also huge sacrifices in the middle. Then there were objections that nearly ended the program. People say to do this kind of face project (actually to a certain extent, because it was a game with the Soviet Union at the time), it is better to invest money in social welfare or help the poor.
But every important part of human development involves taking huge risks, investment risks, and sacrifice risks. Even if it fails in the end, it is impossible for human beings to stop moving forward because of this. This is like his words: "This is one small step for a man, but one giant leap for mankind".
There is nothing wrong with the common people who only care about eating and drinking, but the advancement of this species must not only care about eating and drinking.
3. The movie does not forget the heroes behind this historical event, including his wife. Think about it and know that this is a lot of stress. In the end, the husband and wife looked at each other through the glass, and I felt very romantic. But then I checked the relevant information and found that they divorced in 1994, and I felt a little sad.
People who take on big things are always lonely behind them? I love that last screenshot
