The 6-episode miniseries tells the story of the Battle of New York Loki escapes from the Avengers after picking up the Cosmic Cube, sparking a hunt for the TVA, which maintains the sacred timeline, bringing Loki back to TVA as a time criminal (variant) . And TVA has a top fugitive time criminal, another version of Loki (she changed her name to Sylvie), analyst Mobius believes that Loki can be of great help in hunting down Sylvie, after all, they are actually same person. Sylvie set up many traps to lure TVA's team, just to get enough time resetters in TVA's hands to create chaos in the timeline, so that she could take the opportunity to find the Time Guardian (the founder of TVA) for revenge. During the pursuit, Loki and Sylvie accidentally crashed into the doomsday Lamandis. In order to escape from the doomsday, they had to cooperate with each other. In the collision, the two (or one person...?) sparked each other, and finally the doomsday came. I was caught by TVA because of being "too narcissistic". By revealing that TVA's employees were originally time criminals whose memories had been erased, Sylvie successfully turned against an executor, and Loki turned against Mobius. The two cut off the heads of the Time Guardians, only to discover that only Robot, the initiator is someone else. Loki was erased by the judge and sent to the end of time, and Sylvie took the initiative to follow. The two met many versions of Loki here. With the help of other Loki, they guarded Airy at the end of time through possession. Os, came to the castle at the end of time, and met the final big BOSS - he who remians. It turned out that the big boss was also a time management bureau for the peace of the multiverse. He suggested that Loki and Sylvie take over his work. At this time, Loki and Sylvie had a disagreement. Loki believed in the big boss and Sylvie insisted. He told all lies, and sent Loki back to TVA through the portal, and finally killed the big BOSS. After the big boss was killed, countless branches appeared in the timeline. At this time, Loki found that the TVA he returned to was also a TVA in another universe......

As a passerby who is not a Marvel fan, I have only seen 70% to 80% of the Marvel Universe movies. I don't have a Loki filter for this TV series, but I can't get his charm. On the contrary, the heroine Sylvie has many scenes and rich background settings, which makes people have to doubt that she is the real protagonist. Even so, I still can't quite accept Sylvie's persistent motive for seeking revenge. It might be more convincing if the show could reflect more of the hatred brewing during her pursuit. She was taken away in just a short time. The footage and a few empty lines are hard to convince.

In addition to the character design, there is nothing new in the setting of the world view: the existence of the sacred timeline must be maintained, otherwise there will be a fight between the multiverses. This setting seems to have been written by a fledgling screenwriter.

The whole plot is compact and fast-paced (except that the emotional lines of the male and female protagonists are a bit boring and inexplicable), although there are some clichés, for example: in the penultimate episode, Sylvie and Loki lean on shoulders Sitting side by side, Sylvie asked Loki if he could be trusted, and Loki assured him. Seeing this, I secretly thought that something was wrong. Sure enough, they had a dispute when facing the big boss. Sylvie said angrily, "How did I think to believe you?" Doing this apparently awkward foreshadowing?

Finally, TVA's retro scenes of the last century, the grand special effects are well done. The acting of the actor who plays the big BOSS is a bit exaggerated. I know that Hirst is very handsome, but when he played this drama, he was slightly past his peak of appearance (it's a pity that I didn't watch Thor first).

All in all, it is a good drama that is watched after cooking, but the plot is a bit fast, and it is a bit boring to sit down and watch the drama.

Loki quotes

  • [In a presidential suit]

Loki: Oh, come on! What did you expect?

  • Loki: You're taking me somewhere to kill me?

Mobius: No, I'm taking you some place to talk.

Loki: Well, I don't like to talk.

Mobius: But you do like to lie. Which you just did, 'cause we both know you love to talk.
