Nicholas went to Uganda alone to become a doctor. The exotic scenery made this young man very curious. In fact, he is a relatively simple-minded child. Everything is only seen on the surface. Facing people, especially politicians or politicians with armed forces, everything they do has their own political goals.
The plot is very exciting, and Amin's two impassioned speeches are very impressive. When he confronted ordinary people, he gave the promise of liberty and wealth that were beyond the reach of the once-oppressed. And when he is dealing with the upper echelons of his own country and friends from other countries, he emphasizes the historical origin of Africa, which is equally valid for patriots. And when Nicholas first saw Amin, he shot and killed the cow. He was decisive and cruel. Amin saw that he had the element of a politically enthusiastic young man. What the rulers need is this kind of child who is easy to dominate and incite.
Every time I see those turbulent people, I think of the era our fathers once lived through, admiring their enthusiasm, persistence and youth, but feeling their sacrifice. And now, we are often bewitched by a moment of excitement, what exactly is crowding around, and after calming down, think about whether you will suddenly feel that you were a fool at that time.
"Flying birds are gone, the good bows are hidden; the rabbits die, and the lackeys are cooked." Fan Liwenzhong warned future generations from their experiences that not everyone can be a hero of the founding of the country. A leader like Amin, especially a leader who needs others to make his myths, if he wants to start, the first one is the stupid doctor Nicholas, not only because he has seen his weakest and most ordinary parts, the most important thing is He had no idea how he died.
The film depicts extremely polarized Uganda. Nicholas was originally going to rescue the poor people who did not even know the doctor, and they would do anything to survive. But he ended up being the president's personal doctor, going to a hospital with modern facilities and attending a well-dressed steak dinner. Rather than being blinded by Amin, he had absolutely no idea what he was going to do. Was he going to stay in fancy hotels in disease-riddled Uganda to help those who could die of disease and starvation at any moment.
In the end, Nicholas naturally left Uganda, and this tragic memory will be unforgettable for him. Although I don't like politics, I am keen on history, but the current politics will become the history of the future, just like agreeing to "the key points of application in troubled times", but I can't see the life of the dead and the contradictions. I watched a movie a long time ago, and the thesis was finally constipated, so I should come and sigh.
