Charm, fear, doubt, sensitive look

Biographical films are more and more attractive to me now, and the more I watch fake stories, the more interesting things real people do are sometimes actually more interesting. The serene nobility of "It Happens in People", the deeply emotional person of "Becoming Jane Austen", and the exaggerated grotesqueness of "The Last Dictatorship".

I just watched A Ming's biography and found that the movie also made a certain amount of beautification of A Ming. The dictators who grew up in these tribes in Africa, even if they are educated by civilization, are still hard to eradicate their barbaric nature. Once they are corrupted by power, they will reveal their true colors, and they can be barbaric, ignorant, and brutal to a level that ordinary people cannot understand.

Needless to say, Forest Whitaker's acting, a mixture of charm, fear, suspicion, and sensitivity, is vividly portrayed, and James McAvoy is eclipsed by comparison.

    Sarah Merrit: Touché.

Nicholas Garrigan: I still want to make a difference, you know.

    Sarah Merrit: Really?

Nicholas Garrigan: Yes, really. Want to have fun, too, though. Bit of adventure. Something different.

Sarah Merrit: That's a lot of things.

    Nicholas Garrigan: Is it?
