Reality. . .

The reality is strong, and the mainstream of the society is strong. Julie's parents who are in the upper class but are essentially indifferent and selfish, Pauline's paranoid and manic mother who is humble and resentful towards life, and the school's overall environment in which the school has become popular are actually the background of the big society. Condensation, they all represent a power to control and transform them. Julie and Pauline have extraordinary talents in literary arts, but they have not received the attention they deserve. Therefore, they appear to be incompatible with the outside world. They think that people with noble hearts must be lonely, just like themselves. They can only experience the beauty of life from the fabricated novels, dance with the prince in the fourth world, and compete with the knight. They resist being transformed into one of the bulk of the same products exported to this society, and they don't want to become the abominable faces and lies of their parents. Their desire to uphold the truth and defeat evil is more ardent than any adult. Why would such a pure-hearted, proud and persistent child lead to a murder of mothers?

70's shooting technique is very good, the scene shots are very careful, and the comradeship is shot in an epic style, but the story is very general. The mother-killing at the end of the film is hypocritical no matter how you look at it. The large fantasy fragments, apart from making the film lively, have no dramatic effect at all, which shows how loose the script is. The performances of the two heroines are full of sudden emotional outbursts, hysterical and unconvincing. It's really too hard for rough guys to make lesbian movies
