First of all, the characters, the actors in this show are so good, I especially like Otis, Maeve and Adam.
- Otis's big blue eyes that are gentle and deep, I'm in love; the shyness of the teen's ambiguous feelings, the panic of the first sexual experience, the anger and restraint of quarreling with the mother, all in the eyes, absolutely, love .
- Maeve, her mother took drugs, her father left, and an older brother came and went. She grew up alone, longing for love and being cared for; the relatives around her came and went, but she could not escape disappointment; she is mature, fragile and strong people.
- Adam, very handsome, naive, good acting. From self-doubt to Eric, this silly look has always been melancholy, self-doubt, and uncertain.
Three love lines, my favorite is the Adam part.
- Otis & Maeve, very abusive, they are people who really know each other's hearts, they like each other but miss each other; Maeve longs to be cared about, does it mean that when he meets someone who understands and cares about himself, he always misses it; unfortunately, pitiful; hope It will always fail, expectations will always bring disappointment, maybe this is the normal state of life.
- Jean & Jacob, there's nothing to see about this pair; Jean is such a dashing guy.
- Adam & Eric, the most abusive, just fell in love with a person, just about to start a relationship, but Adam was arranged by his father to join the army, and he was about to separate. And people will not wait in place. That's how life is, whenever you think things are going to get better, it hits you right in the head.
All in all, this drama can be counted in my top 10 British/American dramas.
